Although I had been Catholic my entire life, I was never confirmed. After volunteering for several years with youth ministry and the high school youth group, I was confirmed alongside my young friends. My oldest son, a high school senior and active parishioner at the time, was my sponsor! It was an incredible blessing in so many ways and for so many people, especially me!
My favorite memory at Padre Serra Parish was Our 25th anniversary, when my husband & I renewed our vows. Officiating was Father Thomas Glenn, who had married us 25 years earlier. This June, we hope to renew our vows again at Padre Serra for our 50th anniversary.
