There are so many. The members of the Landings ministry welcomed me with open arms and hugs. The fellowship as a member of the Living Last Supper. The joy of gathering as a parish in the Padre Serra hospitality suite at the LA Religious Education Congress. Ultimately, it’s the people.
We had a Renew program where people signed up to participate. Renew is meant to strengthen parishes, families, and communities through unity and action. The kickoff campaign was huge and very successful, with many parishioners signing up to participate. The energy was infectious, and it brought us closer together. One of the things that came out of the campaign was to have coffee, donuts, and popcorn after the 5:00 pm Mass. The kids loved it, and the families spent time gathered in the courtyard - it was a real energizing time in our parish.
