Coming from a church that prided itself on being bible based, I was struck by how much more Padre Serra reverenced the Bible and how much more effort went into an effective group of lectors. That was a powerful outreach to me.
The sacramental moments for our children and grandchildren and the funerals of my parents render Padre Serra a sacred place - holy ground - for our family.
